In line with the implementation of paragraph 3 of the general policies of the resistance economy and Articles 3, 4 and 5 of the Sixth Development Plan Law on achieving a 2.8% share of productivity in the country's economic growth, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization and National Productivity Organization of Iran was exchanged.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Office of SATBA to create harmonization and alignment, transfer and sharing of national and international knowledge and experiences in the field of energy efficiency, major promotion of the country's energy efficiency, cooperation in preparing and compiling educational and promotional content in the field of energy efficiency, cooperation in holding joint educational and promotional events in the field of energy efficiency, preparing and publishing statistical and analytical reports on the country's energy efficiency, cooperation in pilot projects in the field of improving the productivity of enterprises and executive bodies, as well as cooperation in preparing guidelines for evaluating productivity in executive bodies and monitoring its proper implementation, an MoU was signed by the Head of SATBA, Dr. Satkin and Ms. Pahlavani Head of the National Productivity Organization of Iran.
The head of SATBA, stating that today is an important day due to the exchange of this memorandum and joint cooperation with the National Productivity Organization of Iran, announced the constructive interaction with this organization and said: “SATBA as the main organization and policymaker of renewable energy and efficiency development, can pursue its main goals in all government and administrative agencies.”
"In this regard, relying on the specialized knowledge available in SATBA, this organization is ready to implement related trainings in the form of specialized working groups and meetings for employees, managers and decisionmakers in this field, which as a result of this, we will witness the implementation of energy management solutions with lower costs and more effective measures.” he added.
The report adds that cooperation in transferring the technical know-how of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) and other specialized international organizations by creating opportunities for cooperation in research projects and consulting in the field of productivity and providing the opportunity for SATBA experts to participate in national and international training and research opportunities are among the activities of the National Productivity Organization of Iran in this memorandum.
According to this report, membership in the National Productivity Grid of Iran, sharing efficiency knowledge and experiences, providing the technical and specialized capacities in completing the statistical system and information required to evaluate the country's energy efficiency are among the activities of SATBA.
