Tehran, Sep 10 (Prensa Latina) Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohammad Yavad Zarif, highlighted today the hypocrisy of the United States that condemns the peaceful program of the Persian nation, while manufacturing ballistic missiles with nuclear capabilities.'The US insists that Iran should not enjoy nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, nor buy defensive military equipment or manufacture missiles,' Zarif wrote on social media.

At the same time, he added, Washington spends $ 100 billion on ballistic missiles, makes secret nuclear weapons and sells $ 380 billion worth of weapons.

According to the head of Iranian diplomacy, the approach of the government of President Donald Trump on the Iranian nuclear program is impressive hypocrisy.

Zarif released reports from the US Department of Defense on the recent award of a contract to Northrop Grumman for $ 13.3 billion to develop a missile to replace the Minuteman III.

Similarly, he stated that the US president brags about the manufacture of a nuclear system that will put the United States at the head.

The so-called US nuclear triad of ballistic missiles, submarines and strategic bombers is a priority for the Pentagon, as Trump uses all means to stop Iran's peaceful and deterrent program, Zarif said.
