We continue to grow and diversify, and we’re excited to have been awarded €11 million of European INTERREG NWE funding to progress the Integrating Tidal energy into the European Grid (ITEG) project.
Led by EMEC, ITEG brings together partners from the UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands to develop an integrated solution for generating clean predictable energy.
We are looking for an Instrument & Controls Engineer to develop the instrument and control system for EMEC’s hydrogen and electrical assets within the ITEG project.
You will have experience in electrical, control and instrumentation engineering and be competent in designing system documentation and drawings in AutoCAD.
Educated to degree level in Control, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent), you will have at least two years experience in the specification and design of instrumentation and control systems, with a broad knowledge in basic programming and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
Based in Orkney this full-time post is initially for a fixed term to 31 December 2020.
